Swim Teams Make Waves
Boys Team Highlights:
Matt Liotti took 1st in the 100 Backstroke (54.31) and 2nd in the 200 IM (2:02.33) Liam Adams earned 2nd in the 200 Freestyle (1:49.29) and 3rd in the 100 Freestyle (50.17) 200 & 400 Freestyle Relay teams both snagged 4th place finishes Big improvements from the 200 Medley Relay team, dropping time from 2:11.27 to 2:04.91!
Girls Team Highlights: Julianna Pineda placed 7th in the 50 Freestyle (26.99) and 9th in the 100 Freestyle (1:01.34) Bridget Felser & Anna Hnatt both earned Shore Conference qualifying times! Leah Krompholz finished 10th in the 500 Freestyle, showcasing her distance strength Victoria Callea & Rachael Canale showed amazing potential, just shy of Shore Conference times!

Bloomberg Finance Students Celebrate!
Analyzing a country's economic status
Evaluating stocks and researching currencies
Creating investment plans for clients
Analyzing public companies for investment opportunitiesBut that's not all! Our students also competed in a global Bloomberg Trading Challenge, competing against over 2,000 teams worldwide. With a starting virtual $1 million, they used their skills to maximize profits over a 6-week period. Some teams ranked as high as 127th globally!
And the learning doesn’t stop there! Our Donovan Trading Challenge is ongoing, with the final competition wrapping up today January 13, 2025.
Great job, students! Join us as we proudly recognize the first classes to complete the Bloomberg Market Concepts course in our newly opened Bloomberg Finance Lab at Donovan Catholic High School. 
This semester, Donovan students gained valuable real-world experience and applied their knowledge in a hands-on environment.

It was a fantastic Saturday for the SADD and the Michael Project Team to kick off the school year at the "11th Annual Celebration of Hope Walk" on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. In two short school days, the team raised $250.
