Today Donovan Catholic hosted a Student Well-Being and Mental Health Assembly.

West Point Graduate and Former Ex - NFL Linebacker, Caleb Campbell understands the internal and external pressure facing people of all ages.  According to Caleb, he helps students “pursue and meet their goals and not lose themselves in the process by empowering them to integrate their mental fortitude and commitment to excellence with the power of vulnerability and social-emotional skills.

Together, we can remove the stigma around mental health, create emotionally safe cultures, and empower students to live emotionally honest lives.  Thank you Caleb Campbell for sharing your story with our Donovan community.  God bless you.
Congratulations to the powerlifting team.

Wall Street is coming to Donovan Catholic in September 2024!

Today was the Junior Class Retreat.  We discussed the many “voices” that compete for our attention and talked about the wise and respectful voices that each of us should listen to. The class broke into male and female groups facilitated by our male and female teachers for further discussion and activities.

The entire class came back together and then we labeled and packaged 1500 bars of soap and makeup wipes as part of The SOAP Project (Saving Our Adolescents from Prostitution). These items will be distributed in hotels and motels throughout New Jersey as a resource for victims of human trafficking. We closed the retreat as we prayed over the soap and wipes, asking God that these items reach the hands of victims in need.

Special thanks to all the faculty members who helped with today’s retreat and added their own voices of wisdom and insight to our junior class!
