This past weekend, Donovan Catholic made history. It was the first time our Robotics Team competed in the Brunswick Eruption 2022 Competition. Congratulations to Mr. Brown and the entire Team 8714 Don O Bots.

"The team did fantastic! One of the best rookies I have had. I was complimented on how well they conducted themselves while creating match strategies by several World Champion Teams, said Mr. Brown, team moderator. " We qualified 16th out of 35 and were honored to be asked to join the 4th Alliance to battle in the quarter finals. A very rare accomplishment for a green rookie team." Donovan Catholic is on the map and 8714 are a "championship team in the making".

Congratulations once again to the Don O Bots and Coach Brown.

This week the Donovan Catholic SADD Group (Students Against Destructive Decisions) celebrated Red Ribbon Week, which is celebrated annually the third week in October.  Red Ribbon Week is an ideal way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs and to promote living a drug-free life.  The SADD members brought awareness to living a drug free life by providing red ribbons and bracelets for our school community to wear in support of this program which was started by the National Family Partnership.  This year’s Red Ribbon Week theme was:  Celebrate Life.  Live Drug-Free.

Father Scott led the Donovan Catholic community in a respect life rosary.   As students reflected on the Sorrowful Mysteries of the rosary, they prayed for the protection of all life from conception to natural death.
