The World Language Department of Donovan Catholic educates its students to develop comprehensive critical thinking skills within the lens of Catholic Identity and core Gospel values, to respect each student’s talents and gifts, and to engage in a variety of learning and assessment opportunities to enhance written and speaking communication.

The primary goal is to develop skills that enable students to operate and to comprehend fluent speakers in everyday situations. Simultaneous introduction to specific cultures encourages students to recognize the universality of human experience and acquire a global awareness.
