Frequently Asked Questions
Who should attend Open House? Fall Open House is designed for 8th grade students (Class of 2031) and prospective transfer students, but younger students and families beginning their high school search are also welcome!
Do I need to register ahead of time? We highly encourage all families to register in advance so we can prepare to welcome you. Click here to register. Walk ins are of course welcome.
What time should I arrive during Open House? To get the most out of your visit, we ask families to arrive promptly around 10 minutes before the listed start time of Open House to allow time for check in.
Should parents and guardians attend? Absolutely! Open House is a family experience so parents, guardians and siblings are recommended to attend alongside their student.
Do I need to attend both days? No, choose the date that works best for your family. Both Open House sessions offer the same opportunity to experience all that Donovan Catholic has to offer. And if you’d like to visit us twice, you’re always welcome, we’d be happy to have you back!
Will I be able to speak with teachers and current students? Yes! Faculty, staff, administrators and current Griffins will be available throughout the event to answer questions and share more about the Donovan experience.
Can I learn about scholarships and financial aid? Yes. Families will be able to learn more about available scholarships, tuition assistance and the Donovan Catholic admissions process during Open House.
