In partnership with all stakeholders, the Donovan Catholic High School Counseling Department seeks to empower all students to achieve their full potential and will assist students in becoming life-long learners in an ever-changing global society
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Donovan Catholic School Counseling Department is to support all students through a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program that fosters academic, social/emotional and career development. Together with the Campus Ministry Department, we will continue to assist our students on their faith-filled journeys. In accordance with the American School Counselors Association Model, through individual and group counseling, lessons and presentations, counselors work to empower all students to develop competencies in achieving academic goals, meeting personal challenges, and planning for individual post-secondary options while keeping in line with the rich spiritual mission that Donovan Catholic High School has always provided. Furthermore, it is the mission of the Donovan Catholic High School Counseling Department to provide all students with mindsets and behaviors that will support them well into their futures as they continue to develop and make choices that will impact them throughout their lives.
