Fine Tradition and Excellent Reputation
Donovan Catholic recognizes the benefits of the performing arts and continues to support all activities, events, competitions, performances and course offerings related to training students in theater.
We take pride in the fine reputation we have established through our excellent productions. Many of the students who attend Donovan Catholic do so, because of the success of the fine and performing arts department. The success of the program has resulted more from the level of commitment, support, and cooperation shown by the faculty, school, administration and church community, the talent and dedication of the individuals involved, and the results from the theater arts class.
To keep pace and create a competitive edge, we continue to participate in various performing arts competitions available throughout the state.
Drama Club
The Drama Club welcomes all interested in theater production including acting, directing, set construction, and publicity. Students participate in competition, student directing, and assist with the two major productions in the fall and spring.
